Stephen Bucknill
Stephen covers a broad range of property work including residential, commercial, development and agricultural.
He also specialises in wills, probate and trust work. He acts for a wide range of clients including local Henley residents, high net worth individuals, property investors and developers.
Stephen was educated at Bradfield College in Berkshire. He read Law and Sociology at Kent University and qualified as a solicitor in 1991, having been articled at Hampshire firm Barker Son & Isherwood where he received a strong grounding in private client work.
He moved to Cooper Solicitors in 1992, becoming a salaried partner in 1993 and a full equity partner in 1999.
Stephen carries on a family tradition of being a solicitor: his great-grandfather became a solicitor in 1878 and long practised in Grays Inn, and his grandfather and father were likewise London solicitors. Samuel Bucknill (his great-great-uncle) was secretary to the Law Society for many years, retiring in 1914.
Outside work Stephen enjoys squash, cricket, skiing and shooting.
