Web team wins quiz

THE annual quiz night organised by the Face of Henley charity raised £450.

Four of the regular competitors, solicitors Mercers, accountancy firm Kench & Co, hairdressers Indigo Rye and estate agents Peers Hilton, were all beaten by newcomers thebestofhenley website.

The teams answered questions about bonfire night, advertising slogans, TV shows and creatures of the night and, for the first time, Kench and Co took the wooden spoon.

Jane Moss, one of the organisers, said: “The evening was a great success.

“We would like to thank all those that took part, the golf club, Hugh and John Legh for their ongoing support, quizmaster Toby Greenwood and judges Jeremy Flindall and Mike Moss.”
